California High School Flag Football - East Union can't hold off Bear Creek

September 16, 2025: Stockton, CA 95209

Bear Creek Bruins (Stockton, CA) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA), 13-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Bear Creek improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bruins travel to Stagg (Stockton, CA) to play the Delta Kings in a San-Joaquin Athletic Association battle on Wednesday, September 17. The Delta Kings go into the battle with a record of 2-10. Stagg lost 19-6 in their recent league battle against Tokay (Lodi, CA)

The Lancers now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sierra for a Valley Oak League test on Thursday, September 18. East Union will meet a Timberwolves squad coming off a 18-7 league win over Oakdale (Oakdale, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 5-5.
