The Black Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Highland for a 6A Fiesta test on Thursday, September 18. Williams Field will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Maryvale drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Perry (Gilbert, AZ) to meet the Pumas in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Pumas come into the test with a record of 1-1. Perry lost 13-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ)
