The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Mesquite's flag football team bounce Scottsdale Preparatory Academy by a final score of 40-0.

With the win, Mesquite advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Desert Sunrise (Maricopa, AZ) to encounter the Golden Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 18. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gilbert Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 18. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will encounter a Knights team coming off a 16-6 non-league loss to Heritage Academy (Laveen, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
