Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the host Alamance Christian Warriors (Graham, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Patriots (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Triad Baptist Christian Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Titans enter the test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Triad Baptist Christian Academy nudged Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC), 2-0, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cramerton Christian Academy for a test on Thursday, September 18. Alamance Christian will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Faith Christian (Ramseur, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-1.
