With the win, Curlew improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WA) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 1-2.

The Hornets now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bridgeport for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20.
