The Sussex Academy Seahawks nipped the visiting Appoquinimink Jaguars soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Seahawks now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sts. Peter & Paul for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 22. Sussex Academy will encounter a Sabres team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Seaford (Seaford, DE). The Sabres record now stands at 4-0.
The Jaguars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE). The Riders enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Caesar Rodney held off Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE), 6-0, in a league contest.
