In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Robert C. Byrd Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Bees enter the non-league outing with a 6-0 record. In their last outing, East Fairmont edged Preston (Kingwood, WV), 8-1, in a non-league test.
The Buccaneers now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Jefferson for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Buckhannon-Upshur will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 8-1 league loss to Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.
