The Orono Riots soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Central Red Devils to 1 in the Riots league victory on Tuesday.
The Riots now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to George Stevens Academy for a Class C - North bout on Thursday, September 18. Orono will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Central moves to 1-2 on the year. The Red devils host Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME) to battle the Patriots in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 1-1.
