In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Kirtland Hornets soccer squad scored a tight 8-1 win over the Wickliffe Blue Devils.

The Hornets (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Chardon tipped South (Willoughby, OH), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 18. Wickliffe will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Falcons enter the outing with a 0-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH).
