In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Shoals Jug Rox soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 win over the Mitchell Bluejackets.
The Jug Rox (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN). The Trojans enter the Blue Chip outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Wood Memorial by Boonville (Boonville, IN), 1-0, in a non-league test.
The Bluejackets now sport a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they host Henryville for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 17. Mitchell will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Lanesville (Lanesville, IN). The Hornets record now stands at 2-7.
