In Tuesday's league outing, the host Southern Trojans soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the Moore Mustangs.
The Trojans (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY). The Cougars enter the District 23 outing with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Bullitt Central nipped Meade County (Brandenburg, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seneca for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 17. Moore will clash with a Red Hawks team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Doss (Louisville, KY). The Red Hawks record now stands at 1-12.
