In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting St. John's Cadets soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the St. Mary's Ryken Knights.
The Cadets (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Paul VI edged Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Knights now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Carroll for a test on Thursday, September 18. St. Mary's Ryken will clash with a Lions team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to BASIS (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 0-3.
