The Pawnee Black Bears softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Depew Hornets to 2 in the Black Bears non-league win on Tuesday.
The Black Bears now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hominy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. Pawnee will meet a Bucks squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Oilton (Oilton, OK). The Bucks record now stands at 25-2.
The Hornets (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mason (Mason, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Mason toppled Earlsboro (Earlsboro, OK), 4-3, in a league challenge.
