The Eureka Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights to 3 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Jackson Fighting Indians (Jackson, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Eureka will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Fighting Indians enter the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Odessa (Odessa, MO).

The Red Knights (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Zumwalt South (St. Peters, MO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Fort Zumwalt South nipped Fort Zumwalt East (St. Peters, MO), 8-4, in a league battle.
