Colorado High School Softball - Frederick bested by Horizon

The Horizon Hawks triumphed over the visiting Frederick Golden Eagles softball squad by a margin of 12-2 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Hawks now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niwot for a 5A/4A/3A Granite Peaks battle on Thursday, September 18. Horizon will confront a Cougars team coming off a 11-2 league win over Monarch (Louisville, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Frederick moves to 10-4 on the season. The Golden eagles host Fairview (Boulder, CO) to confront the Knights in a 5A/4A/3A Granite Peaks battle on Thursday, September 18. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 6-8. Fairview lost 8-5 in their recent league challenge against Silver Creek (Longmont, CO)
