The Howe Lions softball squad (Howe, OK), was routed 7-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Warner Eagles (Warner, OK)

The Eagles (15-3) will now prepare for their match against Wister (Wister, OK). The Wildcats go into the 2A match with a 13-10 record. In their last match, Wister tipped Stuart (Stuart, OK), 2-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Claremore Zebras (Claremore, OK) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 18. Howe will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The Zebras enter the game with a 16-6 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK).
