In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Alameda Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the San Lorenzo Grizzlies.
The Hornets (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, San Leandro lost by Saint Mary's (Albany, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Grizzlies meet the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. San Lorenzo will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Jets go into the test with a 7-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Head-Royce (Oakland, CA).
