The Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) volleyball knocked off the host Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they host Booneville for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 18. Ripley will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-1 league win over Belmont (Belmont, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Alcorn Central drops to 17-11 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Belmont (Belmont, MS) to clash with the Cardinals in a Class 3A Region 1 bout on Thursday, September 18.
