The Blue Jays (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Macksville (Macksville, KS). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Macksville Larned (Larned, KS), 0-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks meet the St. John Tigers (St. John, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Kiowa County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Medicine Lodge (Medicine Lodge, KS).
