Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) and the visiting Boling Bulldogs (Boling, TX), observed Calhoun's volleyball team top Boling by a count of 3-0.

The Sandcrabs (17-9) will now prepare for their battle against Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX). The Warriors & Cherokees go into the non-league battle with a 20-9 record. In their last battle, Tuloso-Midway dropped by Sinton (Sinton, TX), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Van Vleck for a 3A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, September 19. Boling will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Bloomington (Bloomington, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 14-13.
