North Carolina High School Volleyball - Carmel Christian over Queen's Grant

September 16, 2025: Matthews, NC 28105

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), saw Carmel Christian's volleyball squad achieve victory over Queen's Grant by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Carmel Christian improves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 12-5. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee won 3-0 in their recent league test against Carolina Day (Asheville, NC)

The Stallions now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont Community Charter for a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A test on Thursday, September 18. Queen's Grant will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 8-3.
