In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Collinsville Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Dodd City Hornets.

The Pirates (19-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Poolville (Poolville, TX). The Monarchs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Poolville was beaten by Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Miller Grove Hornets (Cumby, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Dodd City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Como-Pickton (Como, TX).
