Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (19-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Shallowater (Shallowater, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 17-7 record. In their last challenge, Shallowater beat Greenwood (Midland, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Cougars face the Brownwood Lions (Brownwood, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 19. Cooper will attempt to advance on its 1-17 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 13-11 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Abilene (Abilene, TX).
