Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) and the host De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA), observed Edna Karr's volleyball team top De La Salle by a count of 3-1.

The Cougars (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Chipmunks go into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Chapelle dropped by Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

The Cavalier now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McGehee for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 17. De La Salle will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Riverdale (Jefferson, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.
