Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR) and the visiting Flippin Bobcats (Flippin, AR), observed Highland's volleyball team hold off Flippin by a count of 3-2.

The Rebels (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR). The Redskins enter the 4A 3 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Pocahontas was edged by Westside (Jonesboro, AR), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Bobcats now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bergman for a 3A 2 battle on Thursday, September 18. Flippin will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 7-3.
