The Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) volleyball defeated the host Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

The Panthers (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Albia (Albia, IA). The Blue Demons enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Albia notched a victory over Chariton (Chariton, IA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Bloodhounds battle the Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA) in a Southeast contest, on Monday, September 22. Fort Madison will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Chiefs go into the battle with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, IA).
