The Minden Whippets prevailed the host Hastings Tigers volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Whippets now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Chadron for a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. Minden will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Hastings drops to 2-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Northwest (Grand Island, NE) to confront the Vikings in a B District 6 match on Tuesday, September 16. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 7-3. Northwest won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against North Platte (North Platte, NE)
