With the win, Hillcrest advances its record to 5-5 on the season. The Jaguars host Monroe County (Monroeville, AL) to face the Tigers in a 3A Area 2 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-3. Monroe County lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Excel (Excel, AL)

Next, the Panthers play the Marengo Panthers (Dixons Mills, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Shields will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sumter Central (York, AL).
