The Spartans (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Winona (Winona, MN). The Winhawks enter the Big 9 contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Winona was beaten by Owatonna (Owatonna, MN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Rockets now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albert Lea for a Big 9 test on Thursday, September 18. John Marshall will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
