Missouri High School Volleyball - Lawson over Lafayette

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Lawson Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Lafayette Fighting Irish.

The Cardinals (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against East Buchanan (Gower, MO). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, East Buchanan beat University Academy Charter (Kansas City, MO), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Irish meet the Maryville Spoofhounds (Maryville, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Lafayette will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Spoofhounds go into the test with a 10-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO).
