Illinois High School Volleyball - Tri-Valley tips Lexington

The Tri-Valley Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Lexington Minutemen to 1 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley for a Heart of Illinois game on Thursday, September 18. Tri-Valley will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 4-5.

The Minutemen (12-2) will now prepare for their game against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL). The Knights go into the Heart of Illinois game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Fieldcrest was edged by Eureka (Eureka, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
