Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Lindsay Knights (Lindsay, TX) and the visiting Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX), observed Lindsay's volleyball team top Whitesboro by a count of 3-1.

The Knights (23-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 10-14 record. In their last contest, Mineral Wells dropped by Azle (Azle, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Bearcats now own a 21-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyd for a 3A Region II District 10 battle on Friday, September 19. Whitesboro will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 20-9.
