Texas High School Volleyball - San Antonio Memorial overwhelmed by Long Creek

September 16, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78228

Long Creek Dragons (New Braunfels, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host San Antonio Memorial Minutemen (San Antonio, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Long Creek improves its record to 7-16 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Wimberley (Wimberley, TX) to play the Texans in a 4A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Texans come into the challenge with a record of 30-5.

Next, the Minutemen play the Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. San Antonio Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 18-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Holy Cross (San Antonio, TX).
