Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) and the host Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI), observed North Kingstown's volleyball team top Portsmouth by a count of 3-0.

The Skippers (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Classical (Providence, RI). The Purple enter the Division 1 contest with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Classical gained a win over Prout (Wakefield, RI), 3-0, in a league test.

The Patriots now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prout for a Division 1 test on Thursday, October 2.
