Nebraska High School Volleyball - Perkins County can't get by Paxton

September 16, 2025: Grant, NE 69140

Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sutherland (Sutherland, NE). The Sailors come into the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Sutherland edged Wallace (Wallace, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Plainsmen now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bridgeport for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 18. Perkins County will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-5.
