Illinois High School Volleyball - Rochester tips Sacred Heart-Griffin

The Rochester Rockets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones to 1 in the Rockets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rockets now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Normal University for a Central State Eight outing on Tuesday, September 23. Rochester will play a Pioneers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Sacred Heart-Griffin drops to 8-7 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Lanphier (Springfield, IL) to clash with the Lions in a Central State Eight bout on Tuesday, September 23. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 4-13. Lanphier lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Glenwood (Chatham, IL)
