    In Friday's league game, the Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI) football team smashed the host Alma Panthers (Alma, MI), by a score of 41-0.

    The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Garber (Essexville, MI). The Dukes come into the Tri-Valley - Central game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Garber was ripped by Freeland (Freeland, MI), 43-14, in a league game.

    The Panthers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Swan Valley for a Tri-Valley - Central game on Friday, September 24. Alma will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-20 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 1-3.
