The Colonial Heights Colonials football team (Colonial Heights, VA), was knocked off 19-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA)
The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Park View (South Hill, VA). The Dragons come into the Tri-Rivers challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Park View was knocked off by Halifax County (South Boston, VA), 55-21, in a non-league challenge.
The Colonials now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Dinwiddie for a Central challenge on Friday, September 24. Colonial Heights will meet a Generals team coming off a 52-12 non-league win over Heritage (Lynchburg, VA). The Generals record now stands at 1-0.
