In Friday's league match, the visiting Eau Claire Beavers football squad scored a close 30-26 victory over the Tri-Unity Christian Defenders.
In their next game, the Beavers clash with the New Buffalo Bison (New Buffalo, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan II (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 24. Eau Claire will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Bison enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 82-12 league win over Lake Michigan Catholic/Countryside Academy (St. Joseph, MI).
The Defenders (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Bridgman (Bridgman, MI). The Bees enter the Southwestern Michigan II (8 Man) match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Bridgman held off Mendon (Mendon, MI), 45-0, in a non-league match.
