    In Friday's league game, the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) football team knocked off the visiting Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), by a final score of 38-21.

    The Rangers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Lions come into the 5A-1 Region II District 5 game with a 1-3 record.

    The Knights now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Reedy for a 5A-1 Region II District 5 game on Friday, September 24. Independence will battle a Lions team coming off a 35-25 league win over Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
