In Saturday's non-league game, the William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) football team tipped the visiting Blair Academy Bucs (Blairstown, NJ), by a score of 17-13.
The Quakers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA). The Patriots come into the Inter-Academic game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Germantown Academy got by Olney (Philadelphia, PA), 37-6, in a non-league game.
The Bucs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Germantown Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, September 24.
