In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Webster County Trojans football squad scored a close 7-0 victory over the Eminence Warriors.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) in a 3A District 1 match, on Friday, September 30. Webster County will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
The Warriors (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Washington County (Springfield, KY). The Commanders enter the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Washington County held off Marion County (Lebanon, KY), 21-12, in a non-league match.
