The Valley Stream Central Eagles thwarted the host Hicksville Comets football team by a count of 14-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Hempstead for a non-league contest on Friday, September 23. Valley Stream Central will play a Tigers squad coming off a 27-0 league win over Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (Plainview, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
