New Mexico High School Football - Santa Fe Indian topped by McCurdy

The Santa Fe Indian Braves football team (Santa Fe, NM), was beaten 40-12 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM)

The Bobcats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Navajo Prep was beaten by Ignacio (Ignacio, CO), 54-18, in a non-league challenge.

The Braves now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Espanola Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 23. Santa Fe Indian will meet a Sundevils team coming off a 38-6 non-league win over Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 3-2.
