The Orono Riots thwarted the host Mount View Mustangs football team by a count of 49-27 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Orono upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Riots travel to Bucksport (Bucksport, ME) to encounter the Golden Bucks in a 8-Man Small North (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 23. The Golden Bucks go into the outing with a record of 3-1. Bucksport won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Madawaska (Madawaska, ME)

With the loss, Mount View moves to 0-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Mattanawcook/Lee Academy/Penobscot Valley (Lincoln, ME) to encounter the in a 8-Man Small North (8 Man) outing on Saturday, September 24.
