In Saturday's league game, the Salem Rams (Salem, NJ) football team got by the host Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ), by a score of 20-14.

The Rams (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ). The Pirates come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Cedar Creek nipped Eastside (Camden, NJ), 7-6, in a non-league game.

The Red Devils now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Haddon Heights for a non-league game on Saturday, September 24. Penns Grove will battle a Garnets team coming off a 49-0 non-league win over Sterling (Somerdale, NJ). The Garnets record now stands at 2-1.
