The Springfield Senators topped the visiting Pleasant Plains Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Senators now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenwood for a test on Tuesday, October 11.
The Cardinals (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Auburn (Auburn, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
