The Bexley Lions soccer team scored 6 points and limited the host Unioto Shermans to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.

Next, the Lions face the Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH) in a Mid-State - Ohio contest, on Wednesday, September 21. Bexley will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Barons enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Wellington School (Columbus, OH).

The Shermans now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piketon for a Scioto Valley contest on Monday, September 19. Unioto will face a Redstreaks team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Waverly (Waverly, OH). The Redstreaks record now stands at 2-7.
