The Winfield Generals soccer team (Winfield, WV), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV)
With the win, Morgantown advances its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Mohigans travel to Brooke (Wellsburg, WV) to play the Bruins in a Ohio Valley (OVAC) outing on Monday, October 3. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 5-7.
In their next game, the Generals play the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) in a Cardinal outing, on Thursday, September 22. Winfield will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record.
