Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Dolores Huerta Prep Scorpions (Pueblo, CO), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines confront the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Bayfield will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Taos (Taos, NM).
The Scorpions now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas MacLaren School for a 2A Black Forest challenge on Tuesday, September 20. Dolores Huerta Prep will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 4-0 league win over The Vanguard School (Colorado Springs, CO). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-0.
